There’s a growing challenge in our industry. It is a gap between the rigorous academic research world (Big “R”) and the much more practical UX research world (little “r”). I now feel strongly that both populations desperately need to bridge it and have a lot to offer each other in doing that. We have a lot of answers to each other’s questions and need to come together for the betterment of user experience.
